HatchBrood is specially designed to provide ideal environmental conditions during the brooding period – the crucial first four days of a chick's life. Thanks to technology that ensures optimum chick body temperature, and a healthy supply of fresh water, air, feed and light, chicks get the best growth and development start possible.

Improved field results
When the brooding period is carefully controlled, the predictability of superior final technical field is increased. Keeping chick body temperatures at a uniform, optimal level has been proven to:

Reduced energy use
HatchBrood uses a minimum amount of energy.

• Thanks to the efficient design (m³), high-quality insulation panels and special ventilation system, HatchBrood requires substantially less time than traditional broiler houses to get heated and operational.
• Heating costs during the actual brooding period are close to zero. An energy recovery system captures the heat produced by the chicks and uses it to heat the incoming air.

Lower total expenditure

• In climates with hot summers or cold winters, the investment in a HatchBrood system will be lower than that for broiler house.
• The HatchBrood system (capacity 39,600 day-old chicks) construction area requires just 84m² – significantly less space than is needed for a traditional 39,6000 d.o.c. poultry house
• Decreases energy costs; less m³ need to be conditioned, less heat is needed for starting up and energy is recovered;
